Hi! My name is Kara Branscum but you will get to know me as Mrs. Branscum or Mrs. B. I received my bachelors degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Health Science and I received my masters degree from the University of the Cumberlands in Education with an emphasis on Science and Language Arts. I also have another masters degree in professional school counseling.  I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and a friend. I enjoy helping students learn and grow.  Growing up in a family of educators, it was a natural fit that education would become a passion.  I want my students to acquire the knowledge and self-motivation to learn everything around them. I will be a good role model and educator, all while utilizing Covey's 7 Habits.  Some of my outside interests includes reading, exercising, spending time with my family and friends, and spending time outdoors. Overall, I enjoy all aspects of life and will do what is necessary to maintain and improve the quality of life for others.
